Bathing and Hygiene

Bathing and hygiene services, often provided by a Nursing Aide, help our clients feel positive about their appearance. When our clients look and feel their best it not only enhances their physical well-being but also their mental well-being. Bathing cleanses the body, stimulates circulation, provides relaxation and even helps to refresh the spirit. This is an important part of home care for our clients.

Eating

In general, as part of their home health care services, care providers help clients to eat a well balanced diet that provides the energy needed for a healthy life. They also make certain that clients stay on prescribed diets to control or prevent a variety of medical conditions like diabetes and heart disease. In addition to preparing meals, care providers have received training in how to help clients feed themselves. At first this can be hard to accept, but our caring approach can turn mealtime into an enjoyable social experience.
